It is possible to see manta rays all year because it is a cleaning station. Turtles are also sometimes observed. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE La Vallée blanche, Tahiti (★4.2) One of the most beautiful dive of Tahiti for its fauna. Grey sharks, white tip, black tip, lemon and sometimes even the majestic tiger shark. The dive is particularly recommended for drift diving. TOPDIVE Bora Bora, 98713 Papeete Toopua (★4.6) Many tropical fishes gather along this drop-off, among them huge anemones and their clown fish. A gentle slope to the sand spit where we can meet turtles and sharks. Mares, Janez Kranjc Mur de corail/Coral Wall (★4.5) Located just outside of Opunohu’s Bay, you’ll dive between coral canyons and gentle slopes, offering dives accessible to all in depths of 15-20m. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE La Faille St Etienne, Tahiti (★4.3) Beautiful opening in the reef. A lot of verticality when arriving at the St. Etienne Drop-off. The upper part of the drop-off is very lively, with plenty of fish and turtles. A magnificent dive, especially with good visibility. TOPDIVE Tahiti, 98713 PAPEETE L' Aquarium, Tahiti (★4.3) Certainly the best site for beginners in Tahiti. A coral ring which is ideal for a first dive. There are also 3 wrecks lying on the sand: a Cessna (5 m) and 2 boats. Scubapro Tiki (★4.3) Its a dive site 10 minutes max by boat, and runs from north to west, but is exposed to waves and sometimes current. Going there will always depend on the weather conditions. Aqualung Haapiti (★4.4) Haapiti is a nice drift dive. At the coral plateau you can visit 3 large holes. It is then possible to see different excavations and mini caves. Diving outside the lagoon visibility is excellent and can sometimes reach 60m. Mares Canyons - Moorea (Tahiti) (★4.5) The Canyon dive site is located off the mysthical Ōpūnohu Bay in Moorea. The underwater life is varied : anemones with clown fish, turtles or even black tip sharks. Aqualung Papa Whisky, Tahiti (★4.0) This site takes the form of a vast amphitheater created by the collapse of a portion of the underwater plateau. Divers have two exploration options, one at the southern end of the arena and the other at the northern point. The depth of the site ranges from 8 meters to 40 meters. Mares La Faille Pomare (★4.3) The Drop-off at its peak, neighboring the Arue’s fault, often done as a drift dive. When the current is incoming, encounters can be spontaneous. The reef barrier slopes gently down to 5 to 6 meters and plunges into a steep wall rich in fauna and flora… BORA OCEAN ADVENTURES, 98730 BORA BORA Tapu Canyon (★4.8) A variation on the classic Tapu dive. A beautiful dive on a shallow coral plateau with a beautiful drop-off. You’ll cross several canyons, hence the name of the dive. As the site is close to the pass, it’s possible to see tuna.
