AND CATCHES ENOUGH CURRENT TO BE QUITE COLOURFUL. THE MOORING AREA IS WELL PROTECTED FROM THE SEA, CURRENT IS USUALLY MILD FROM THE NORTH. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Baring (★4.1) Located just off the top of Olango Island the Baring site takes around 30 minutes to reach from Mactan. It offers a large sloping sand flat descending to a deep wall with superb corals. Mares Lapus I (★4.0) Lapus Shallow Dive site is an ideal dive training site. It is a sandy slope with some rock formations. Most of the time there is a light current except for slack hight tide. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Manoc Manoc Camia Wreck (★4.6) Camia was Boracay’s first artifical reef. It is a former steel-hulled fish processing vessel, sunk on purpose January 2001 by BASS. It is 30 meters long and rests upright on a sandy bottom at 32 meters with the top deck ar around 22 meters depth. Aqualung Napantau Marine Protected Area (★4.5) The first Marine Protected Area in Sogod Bay, Napantau is considered one of the top 10 wall dives in Southeast Asia. A fantastic wall dive awaits you and brings an array of soft & hard coral with all the hues of the rainbow and every color in between. Hans E. (#3545391) Dauin Marine Sanctuary (★4.4) Dauin Marine Santuary in Dauin’s Poblacion district 1. The most visited dive sanctuary with promises of turtles and beautiful coral gardens. Great beach area as well for sunbathers. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kalipayan, Bohol (★4.4) Kalipayan is a wall dive located close to Alona Beach-Bohol Panglau within 4-5 minutes to the closest dive centers. The dive begins in a sandy aera at five meters and then proceeds by dropping over the vertical wall. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Arco Point (★4.4) A wall drift dive with good visibility and medium to strong current. A wonderful spot for both advanced and beginner divers. This spot will ease you into wall diving. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Coral Garden (★4.5) About 1 kilometer offshore, in the middle of world-famous White Beach is Coral Garden dive site. Training ground for thousands of divers over the years . In clear calm conditions, entry-level student divers will be introduced to open water diving. The terrain is sandy channels and areas around coral bommies. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Crocodile (★4.6) Small rocky island off the south-east corner of Boracay Island. Coral-encrusted wall on the south side with many small overhangs and caverns. Most colorful night dive site. Currents can be tricky, rising tide best. Mares, Janez Kranjc Tongo Sanctuary (★4.3) Tongo Sanctuary is a protected marine area featuring a steep wall dive with depths ranging from 5 to 55 meters and visibility between 15 to 25 meters. The site boasts vibrant hard and soft corals, small caves, and minimal currents, making it suitable for divers of all levels. Elias P. (#2102022) Pescador South (★4.3) The south side of Pescador Island offers calm, safe entry points ideal for both divers and snorkelers. Protected from strong waves, it’s perfect during rough sea conditions. The area allows for east or west drift dives and provides adventure in shallow, manageable depths. KAN J. (#1337003) Talima (★4.1) large sandy slope dotted with corals till around 12-17m where the wall starts. There is a memorial for some long gone wooden wrecks at around 12. Nice corals, depth exceeds 40m and currents can be strong on an outbound tide. Aqualung San Vicente (★4.0) An extensive shield reef, 3 -10 m, with corals and soft corals till around 5-7 m, where the wall starts. Nice corals, depth exceeds 40m and currents can be strong on an outbound tide. Mactan Scuba Dive Centre, 6015 Lapu Lapu City Nalusuan Island (★4.1) Located just off the bottom of Olango Island the Nalusuan site takes around 30 minutes to reach from Mactan. It offers a large sflat flat descending to a deep wall with superb corals. Also shallow reefs and walls on the southern end of the marine park. Mares Exotic Dive Resort house reef (★4.4) Exotic’s protected area where the fish are plentiful, this Reef is not to be missed. Starting at 5 meters and gently sloping to 13, it’s a great place to work out the kinks after some time out of the water. Amongst the scattered coral and patches of sea grass, a wide variety of fish and macro life can be found. Mares, Janez Kranjc Snapper’s Cave (★4.4) Wall with a cave down to 25m/80ft. Good for macro and wide angle photography. Good place to spot turtles and nudibranchs and frogfish plus the other reef fish. Mares, Janez Kranjc Coral Garden (★4.4) Sharp wall down to 130ft/40m with large expanses of hard and soft corals on top. Can be current on the wall which makes a great drift dive along the wall. Scubapro Panorama Reef (★4.4) Sloping wall to sandy bottom at about 25m/80ft. Mix of hard and soft corals with lots of creatures throughout. About a 20 minute boat ride. Could be some current. Mares, Janez Kranjc Kasai Wall (★4.3) Kasai Wall offer a shallow end with a beautiful scenery of many hundreds of coal species attracting many critters, reef fish and sea turtles. Over the edge of the reef a wall is formed dropping down to about 40m. At the bottom of the wall you can find the entry to the Kasai Cave that stretches about 140m in. Mares Marine Station WeOcean (★4.1) A nice wall dive with a wide variety of local life to see. It’s a good dive for any level of diver with shallows and the endless wall to dive. Watch out for the boats, however. Scubapro, Stephen Frink LO-OC (★4.2) Lo-oc is a captivating wall dive site known for its rich marine biodiversity and underwater caverns. Decorated with colorful soft corals, it offers adventurous swim-throughs and varied topography. Suitable for all levels, Lo-oc promises a memorable dive experience. Hans E. (#3545391) Apo Island Marine Sanctuary (★4.4) To date, Apo Island is one of the most successful conservation stories in the Philippines. Marine Sanctuary was one of the first sanctuaries in the Philippines, where a maximum of only 15 divers are allowed at a time. Mares Mangodlong Beach House Reef (★4.2) This house reef is diveable via boat or from shore. The maximum depth is over 45m and there is a sunk fishing boat to explore at 15m deep. This site is suitable for night beach diving as well. The field of view is normal and there is very little current. Mares Marigondon Port (★3.8) Located to either side of Marigondon Port it offers short sandy flats then dropping off to deep sweeping walls. Often very strong currents and down-currents in the area. The constant boat traffic in the area requires good buoyancy control to remain at safe depths in some of the shallower areas. Mares, Janez Kranjc Hadsan (★4.3) The Hadsan is a very easy site to dive, where the dive is mainly done along a nice wall covered with different sponges and corals. it’s an easy dive along a wall covered with vibrant colors of soft corals, as well as many different species of colorful hard corals. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Cogon (★4.5) Cogon means grass in the Filipino language. ‘Cogon Point’ was named after the grass used for roofing native houses that can be seen directly onshore, northeast of Apo Island. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Tingo (★3.8) giant sand flats leading to deep walls and cleaning stations. The site is exposed and is susceptible to winds and currents, with strong tidal flows often experienced. Mares, Janez Kranjc Los Bamboos (★4.3) 3-5m flat top reef and sandy patches with a sloping reef down to 16-17m a perfect dive site for courses either for open water, advanced open water or higher. Mares Santiago Bay (★4.2) It takes 20 minutes by boat to reach this site from Camotes. This is best done as a boat dive. This is a beautiful dive as the wall shape is very unusually terraced. A perfect site from beginner divers to advanced divers. Scubapro, Stephen Frink Gato Island (★4.5) Gato Island is a well preserved marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary. This is one of the five famous dive sites on the Island. The site is a tunnel where you take a tour underneath the island. This site is best for more experienced divers/ Peter S. (#417559) Kimud Shoal (★4.8) After the tresher sharks disappeared from Monad Shoal for unknown reasons and moved to the Kimud Shoal, this is now one of the best dive sites in the world to see the rare and elusive tresher sharks. These sharks normally live in the deep but regularly come here for the cleaning stations at shallower depths. DiveGurus Diving Services Corp., 5608 Malay Fridays Rock (★4.5) A dive at Fridays covers two divespots: Fridays Rock which is up to 18 meters deep and Fridays Reef which reaches 12 meters of depth. Its a very well visited divesite. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Cordova reef (★4.2) Cordova Reef is a 15mins boat travel from EZDC Housereef. A slope terrain from shallow up to 21m/67 feet, then wall. Good for beginner and Advanced level divers. Hans E. (#3545391) Chapel Reef (★4.5) The Catholic Chapel at Apo Island can be seen from the dive site, hence the name. A stunning dive site that begins as a slope with scattered coral bommies leading to a steeper slope towards a wall overloaded with nook, crannies, cracks, crevices & caverns exposing overhangs graced by soft & hard corals. Mares Alona Reef (★4.4) Wreck dive locally called the Hagabat Wreck or Bohol Divers Wreck. Usually starts with a descent down a line close to a wall and then down the slope to the wreck. The top of the wreck is at 28M and the bow of the wreck is at 37M. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Danao Wall (★4.4) Danao Wall on Panglao Island, Bohol is a top dive site with vibrant corals, sponges, and sea fans on a dramatic wall that drops beyond 60m. Most dives stay around 15–25m, where visibility is excellent and volcanic rock formations add to the beauty. A must-dive in the Philippines. Mares, Janez Kranjc Evo Reef (★4.4) The Evolutionary House Reef (Evo Reef) in Malapascua, managed by Evolution Diving Resort, is a premier muck diving site known for macro life, artificial structures, and excellent night diving, located near the shore. Mares Rock Point East (★4.6) Rock Point East is a finger-shaped reef located on the southeast corner of Apo Island, primarily exposed to prevailing currents ensuring an abundance of reef fish, colorful coral formations, and occasional visits from pelagic species. DIVESTORY CORPORATION, 6015 LAPU - LAPU Pescador West / Cathedral (★4.4) Pescador Cathedral is a cave that has a vertical swim through offering views of the surface. The depth ranges from 5 to 65 meters with a visibility of 20 to 50 meters. Its chimney continues to around 16m depth. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Momo Beach (★4.5) A peaceful and scenic dive site known for its calm conditions and divers habitat. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom interspersed with coral patches, seagrass areas, and small reef formations. Depths are generally shallow to moderate, making it suitable for beginners, training and relaxed dives. Aqualung Medicare (★4.5) Right in front of the Medicare facility on land. A mild current allows you to cover both dive sites. A steep rocky slope descends to 20 meters on Medicare South moving deeper to 25 – 30 meters towards Medicare North. Mares, Predrag Vuckovic Tangka-an Point (★4.5) A peninsular dive spot on the southern tip of Padre Burgos. Exposed to a 3 sided waterfront from the south, east, and west make for a good drift dive when the currents pick up. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City E&Z DIVE CENTER (★4.8) EZDC House reef is a white sand beach good for swimming, snorkeling and confined Open Water Diver training. It is a slight slope from shallow 3m/9.6feet upto 18m/59feet. A place rich for macro and wideangle photography. Cebu J Dive Center, 6015 Lapu-Lapu City Gilutungan Coral Plateau (★4.1) Hilutongan is 30mins. away from Jpark Marineboy Dive Center via Speedboat, and it is under the Municipal of Cordova, it is a small island close to Nalusuan E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Gilutungan Marine Sanctuary (★4.3) Gilutongan Island, also called Hilutungan Island, Hilotongan Island or Lutungan Island, lies 30 minutes by banka boat from Mactan Island. The island is home to numerous coral reefs and sea grass meadows. Aqualung LIGHT HOUSE (★4.4) This lighthouse is found on the southern tip of Cebu and is an amazing dive spot for beginners. You can get there easily from Santander, Liloan, or Oslob. E&Z Diving Center, 6015 Lapu-lapu City Marigondon Cave (★4.2) Marigondon Cave is the most exciting dive along the coast of Mactan Island, Cebu. It has a roof at around 29m/95ft and a floor of at about 40m/133ft. the diameter of the cave is near 10m/33ft. At the entry there is a small alcove. Sidemount or Twinset is a must diving in the area. Aqualung La Tortue House Reef (★4.8) Located at the southern end of the Dauin Poblacion District 1 Sanctuary, it offers amazing diving for beginners, advanced and expert divers with both muck and a big, healthy reef. There’s also a mini reef at 30m for Advanced Divers to enjoy. 12→
