It is safe to say that Ahmedbe Thila is more a fish soup than a reef. Starting from 8 meters the reef slope gently down to all sides except towards the ocean. The ocean facing side has a nice drop off to offer. The place was discovered by our Captain Ahmedbe upon spotting a lot of hutting fishes around...
Whatever you can imagine! Huge schools of fussiliers, bigeye trevallys and snappers. The right current also bring bigger animals like sharks and rays. Coral life is mainly hard corals.
