Ahmedbe Thila is better described as a ’fish soup’ thila beginning at 8m, with gentle slopes on most sides and a dramatic ocean-facing drop-off - the abundance of marine life here is remarkable. Discovered by Captain Ahmedbe after spotting hunting fish, it is renowned for its exceptional marine life.
Whatever you can imagine! Huge schools of fusiliers, bigeye trevallies and snappers dominate the reef, while favourable currents can attract sharks and rays. Hard corals cover the reef.
