Amin Faru is the outside barrier reef of Amingiri, facing the open ocean. Starting at around 5m, the reef descends through several stages into the deep blue, offering a dramatic underwater landscape influenced by its location between two channels.
Its ocean-facing position attracts larger marine life, including reef sharks, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse and, with luck, seasonal encounters with manta rays.
