Bajo de Ses Caletes
★★★★☆
(46)
The shoal is located in front of the little-known cove of Ses Caletes, a stretch of virgin coastline between Portinatx and Cala San Vicente. It rises at a depth of 3 meters and falls at 24 meters, on a sandy bottom, which makes it a meeting point for aquatic life in the area.
The shoal is the place to find cephalopods egg laying and scorpion fishes of all sizes. From May to June the Mediterranean slipper lobsters move to the caves and cavities of the shoal.
