Bodrum is a port city of the Mugla in the southwestern Aegean region of Turkey. It is located on the southern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that checks the entry into the Gulf of Gökova. It is a fascinating place, with its pleasant contrast between ancient culture and the usual tourist paraphernalia.
Bodrum has quite an impressive culture and history, filled with exciting stories reaching back to the times of the Carians, Persians and Alexander the Great.
