Cable Wreck (حطام سفينة الكيابل)
In the southwest corner of Jeddah lies Abu Tair Island, home to the wreck of the famous Greek ship Stavronisos. This area is also known as the “Cable Wreck“ due to the massive cables, fences, and steel bundles scattered across the seafloor.
What makes this place unique is the marine life that has transformed the wreck into a haven, including white tipsharks, goatfish, blue chromis and glowing blue Luma fish.
