The diving zone can be reached by driving from the Edersee diving center in the direction of the Sperrmauer. After about 1 km there is a parking lot on the left side. If you cross the road here, you will reach the custom via a staircase. The diving zone is marked by yellow buoys and may not be left.
Towards the south, the terraced slope drops to 36m. If you dive around to the right, after a few meters you will find a boulder field.
