Try Diving

Introductory diving - your first underwater adventure Discover the fascinating underwater world! Date: see calendar, usually once a month on a Saturday. Other dates possible by arrangement. Our trial dive offers you the perfect opportunity to experience your first breaths underwater - without any previous experience! Under the expert guidance of an experienced diving professional, you will learn the basics of diving in a safe environment. What to expect: Introduction: Brief introduction to the diving equipment and basic techniques. Practical training: Trying on the equipment and first exercises in the indoor pool south. First dives: Diving under continuous supervision to experience breathing underwater. If everything goes well, you can already try out some exercises from the Open Water Diver course to gain an insight into further diving training. Safety: Our highly trained diving professionals ensure a safe and relaxed experience. Flexibility: Ideal for individuals, friends or families. Stress & Rescue

Diver Stress & Rescue - Protect yourself and your dive buddies Learn to recognize stressful situations and safely perform rescue procedures! The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty course is the ideal way to learn how to protect yourself and other divers in stressful situations. This comprehensive course gives you the knowledge you need to recognize stress, avoid accidents and apply effective rescue techniques and emergency care. Through a combination of theoretical training and practical exercises in the pool and open water, you will be optimally prepared to deal with emergencies. Upon successful completion, you will receive the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty certification. What to expect: Theory: Learn the basics of identifying and preventing diving stress as well as the principles of diving rescue. Our theory evenings in the store offer space for open questions and in-depth discussions. Practical training: In the swimming pool and during open water dives in Lake Singlis or Lake Edersee, you will practise practical rescue techniques and emergency procedures under realistic conditions. Rescue scenarios: By acting out realistic emergency scenarios, you will develop the ability to react quickly and safely to different stressful situations. First aid and emergency management: Deepen your knowledge of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to be able to act appropriately in an emergency. Safety: Increase your safety and that of your diving partners through in-depth knowledge and practical skills in dealing with stressful situations. Self-confidence: Develop the confidence to act calmly and effectively in emergencies. Recognized worldwide: The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification is internationally recognized and enhances your skills as a responsible diver. Comprehensive training: Combine theoretical knowledge with practical exercises to be best prepared for rescue situations. The diving zone can be reached by driving from the Edersee diving center in the direction of the Sperrmauer. After about 1 km there is a parking lot on the left side. If you cross the road here, you will reach the custom via a staircase. The diving zone is marked by yellow buoys and may not be left.

From the entrance of the gravel pit, there are three training platforms at 6 m, 9 m and 15 m, within a radius of 100 m, all connected by guidelines. The maximum depth here is 17 m. When diving further out, depths of up to 28 m are possible. The visibility is between 5 and 15 m.
