An historic jetty, this site is a shallow water dive starting and finishing at the stepsbuilt for divers! Followthe jetty pylons out to the end and back, best diving done at slack tide.

Masses of macro creatures to be found, with occasional leafy seadragon sightings in the seagrass. Squid, cuttlefish, octopus, frogfish, nudibranchs, a macro photography delight.

South Australian, commonly known as The Dredge or Glenelg Dredge, was built in Holland in 1911 and arrived in Australia in 1912. South Australian was decommissioned in 1982 and scuttled on 16 January 1985 as an artificial reef for recreational scuba and fishers.

A gorgeous dive site good for dive training, snorkelling, and simply entry and exits. Average depth is around 5m, there is a Scuba trail with underwater placards with information about the reef placed along the south portion of the reef wall.
