Epave du Nann Smith

In 240, 3.3 nautical miles from the Port de Portivy, lies the Nann Smith, a Norwegian cargo ship carrying iron ore, at a depth of 24m. She sank in 1917, hit by a floating mine. Lying on the seabed, the boilers rise 4 to 5m and the ship’s structure is still clearly visible.

Lots of flora and fauna on the wreck: inhabited by large edible crabs, spiders, lobsters, spiny lobsters, huge conger eels, pout, pollack, Saint Pierre, coquettes, gorgonians, sponges,
