A 56m*6m torpedo boat located in the bay of Cavalaire rests on a 39m sandy bottom. She sank on 4 February 1903 during an attempt to tow her to the port of Cavalaire after she ran aground on the dry land of Taillat.

The central part of Espingole is a refuge for Congers. There are also crustaceans such as lobsters, spiny lobsters and galatas.
