Hidden in a small wooded area, not far from the river Rhine and thus in the flood plain, is the small Fohlengarten, not far from the Wachholderrain.
The lake is not very deep at just under 10m, but a fresh water supply from a "cold" spring continually adds fresh water to the lake, which is rich in fish.
