Grönhögen Stenbrott
Grönhögenstenbrott, also known as Grönhögens kalkbrott, is a former limestone quarry located near Grönhögen on southern Öland. Today, it is a popular spot for swimming and Scubadiving. The quarry features azure-colored water, good visibility, and various underwater structures.
As for fauna, the quarry’s clear waters attract various aquatic life, including small fish and amphibians, while birds such as seagulls and herons frequent the area.
