Stora Rör is a small town in Borgholm municipality. Before the opening of the Öland Bridge, there was a ferry connection from here to Revsudden on Skäggenäs. This is where the distance between Öland and the mainland is shortest.

There are a lot of fish and needlefish and there are varying bottom conditions with both stone, sand and vegetation. It can occasionally be current in the area.
