Grott 1
Grotto 1 in Minami Ise, Mie, dubbed “Ise-Shima’s Blue Cave,” features light streaming into its cavern, schools of tuna, and occasional stalactites. Surrounding roots at 25m+ host snappers, rock lobsters, frogfish, and nudibranchs, offering both dramatic scenery and rich marine life.
Grotto 1 hosts tuna, blacktip reef fish, Japanese snook, sparrowhawk, snappers, Dall’s shark, kuei, frogfish, frigatefish, and nudibranchs.
