Grotta Byron
Coming out of the Portovenere Canal and heading towards Riomaggiore you will immediately come across a small cove chosen by Lord Byron for many of his poems. A beautiful, serene landscape.
This diving site is perfect for macro photography featuring red and blue damsel fish and nudibranchs which are very common here. This site is also full of Apogon imberbis (the kings of mullets), sea horses, and cnidarians too.
