Hamahiga Beach
Hamahika Beach, located on Hamahika Island in Uruma City, Okinawa Prefecture, is a man-made beach with white sand and clear, shallow waters, and is a popular point for families. A variety of marine activities such as diving, snorkeling, banana boating, and flyboarding can be enjoyed in the vicinity. In particular, the Flower Garden, a 15-minute boat ride from Muluk Beach, is a great place for beginners to observe beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish up close.
Hamahiga Beach is a good dive site for snorkeling and observing a variety of marine life, including small tropical fish such as bears and snappers, as well as nudibranchs, starfish, and gobies that live in the coral reefs.
