Herod's Submerged Port of Caesarea
The submerged port of Caesarea is an archaeological site with the remains of an old port dating back to the Roman Empire. All dives around the port are shallow and range between 2-8 meters (6-24 feet). In 2015, a group of divers found about 2,000 gold coins that dated 1,000 years old.
You will see typical Mediterranean fish and sea life including colorful nudibranchs, octopuses, squids, and crabs. You may also encounter small rays.
