石切ではマクロダイビングが主流となり、特に冬場になると多くのマクロ生物が観察できる。ショアエントリーとなりエントリー口は足場が悪いため少し波があると難航する。駐車場や施設もなく慣れているダイバーではないと大変である。カエルアンコウやナカモトイロワケハゼなど珍しい生物が見られるのでマクロ派ダイバーには人気のポイント。
ナカモトイロワケハゼ、コブシメ、ニシキフウライウオ、カエルアンコウ、ホムラハゼ、ウミウシ、ハナヒゲウツボエビ系のマクロ生物もよく見かける。１１月～３月頃の水温が２５度を下回っているときににマクロ生物が増える。
