Lake Lukomskoe is located in 18 km south-west of the town of Chashniki, near the western outskirts of the town of Novolukoml and belongs to the basin of the river.Ulla. The lake is weakly eutrophic, glacial dammed type. It takes 2nd place, after Lake Naroch in terms of water volume and 4th in terms of area.

The lake and its surroundings are rich in flora and fauna. More than 20 species of fish live, including eel, catfish, silver carp. Commercial fishing is carried out.
