Located directly next to Munich and the motorway, the Langwieder Lake is easy to reach. The parking lot to the site entrance is only 50m. Underwater you will find fields of candelabra and corkscrew algae as well as two platforms for practice purposes. The maximum depth is 9 m.
Typical species seen in the quarry ponds can also be found in Langwieder See like pike, perch, carp, and tench.
