Lausen, Kulkwitzer See

Lake Kulkwitz west of Leipzig is known far beyond the country’s borders for its clear water and good visibility. Coming from the road by the lake, drive into the village of Lausen, turn right at Gasthof Lausen, then follow the road to the diving centre.

Many freshwater fishes like Pike and Perch can be seen. Divers should always keep at least 1.5 to 2 meters away from the bottom and ensure that they have good buoyancy.
