Lom Velká Amerika - Mořina
The Velká Amerika quarry near Karlštejn is a flooded limestone quarry with turquoise water and high limestone walls. The water depth reaches approximately 18–20 m. Entry, swimming, and diving are prohibited due to danger.
Fish (carp, perch), amphibians, and small invertebrates live in the water. Birds and bats inhabit the steep quarry walls.
