The reef on the eastern side of Maalhaveli Island is a long Faru on the outer side of the atoll. This spot is located between “Boahura Express“ in the north and “Medhufushi Outside“ in the south. The top of the reef is about 8 - 10 m deep and continues in a 45° angle to 30 m.

There´s a good chance of seeing turtles, sharks, tuna and all kinds of shoaling fish. Also, parrotfish, snappers, and surgeonfish can be found.
