1 hour south of El Gouna is Marsa Abu Galawa. It is a nice bay with a drop off full of beautiful hard corals. In the bay you find nice coral blocks and inside there is a shallow sea gras area.
All kinds of reef fish can be found here as well as scorpion fishes, lion fishes, stone fishes, moray eels, and small stuff like nudibranches and shrimps.
