Merikafalhu ( Tiger point )

★★★★★ (3,128)

Centuries of discarded fish remains outside the harbor drew in tiger sharks, now a resident population. Today, structured dives let groups descend to 10–11m (30-40ft), settle on the seabed (max 30 mins), and watch tiger sharks arrive after chum is released—an intense, unforgettable experience.

Tiger sharks and other large fish (rays, moray eels, groupers) focus on the fish heads stacked between the rocks. Once the meal is over, the sharks move more freely between the groups.
