The prepared wreck of the Danish ferry M/F Ærøsund lies about 600 meters offshore at a depth of 19 meters. Its funnel reaches up to 6 meters below the surface. Free of environmental hazards and safely built, it offers a straightforward dive with usually light currents.
The wreck is rich in plumose and sea anemones as well as kelp. Marine life uses it for shelter. The low-current site is ideal for safe wreck exploration and training.
