A warship built at the Chantiers Navals Français shipyard in Blainville (which also supplied the boilers and turbines) and Ateliers et Chantiers de la Loire in St. Nazaire. The first modern Polish destroyer of the Second Polish Republic’s Navy (she served under the Polish flag for 9 years).
As of today, ORP Wicher is the centerpiece of an exhibition at the Vistula Lagoon Museum in Kąty Rybackie, and the only remains visible on the seabed are the lower sections of the hull.
