慶良間諸島前島の西側に位置するパライソはスペイン語やポルトガル語で天国や楽園という意味。その名の通り珊瑚のリーフから深場に広がるように続くホワイトサンドの砂地や浅場の珊瑚礁はまさに楽園ののよう。ドリフトダイビングでもダイビングすることがあり、初心者から上級者までもが楽しめるポイントとなっている。
キホシスズメダイ、ネムリブカ、マダラエイ、アオウミガメ、ミナミウシノシタ、ハマクマノミ、ハナビラクマノミ、クマノミ、チョウチョウウオ、ヘラヤガラ珊瑚がすごくきれいで珊瑚礁に住む小魚がよく観察できる。
