Terembu Pempang Tengah is the middle patch of the three submerged reef just west of Pulau Hantu. Diving on the Southern part of the reef is best when current flow is minimum. Reef stretches down to sandy bottom at 12-15 m. Visibility 3 - 5 m; Temperature 29 - 31 degrees Celcius
The flat sea bed substrate offers habitats to serveral nudibranch species, gobies and other smaller reef fishes. The reef slope would see more marine life form.
