Pirgo Sud
The Pirgo Sud site in Civitavecchia offers a mixed seabed of rock and seagrass, ideal for macro photography. With a maximum depth of about 12-15 meters, it’s perfect for beginners or check dives. The remarkable rock formations are home to octopuses, white sea bream, and occasionally small nudibranchs.
At Pirgo Sud, you’ll explore Posidonia oceanica meadows populated by seahorses and octopuses among the ravines. In shallow waters, you’ll schools of white bream, damselfish, and conger.
