Located right by the harbour of Sagres is Praia da Baleeira, a spot sheltered from swells and winds, making it ideal for try-dives and courses, the reef has a maximum depth of 8-10 m , large areas of sand are perfect to practice and perfect scuba skills. the cliffs on the left are perfect for snorkelling
Typical species here are: cephalopods, nudibranchs, spider and devil crab, rays and different species of fish including some odd species like the pufferfish and the pipefish
