This dive site is a wreck to the west of Meemu Atoll. The wooden wreck of a transportation dhoni rests on the south side of the Giri at 20 - 33 m deep. It is approx. 30 m long and sank in 1979. It is easy to dive inside. The Giri is adorned with interesting overhangs and many small caves and caverns.
You will find groupers, moray eels, rock cods, and glassfish. Spectacular soft coral gardens and dense shoals of fish in all shapes, sizes, and colors make this dive one to remember.
