The “ Kleine Surfplas“ is one of the two Lakes in the recreation area “Nijstad”. Diving in this area is monitored by Dive2adventure. The Diving is ONLY allowed by pre-registering with Dive2adventure (info@dive2adventure.nl). Dive2adventure is currently working on construction of a underwater park in this lake.
The lake is famous for his underwater plants and large schools of white-fish. The big hunters (Zander / Eel / Pike) are well hidden between the plants. The max depth ’known“ is 24m.
