You then have to walk to the point of the pier and enter the water there. The first half of your dive can be spent on the left side of the pier, which continues underwater. But make sure you have crossed the pier before the turn. The current on the outside can be quite strong and visibility is poor.
The bottom here consists mainly of silt, which keeps the underwater life rather limited. But the bottom is far from dead, lots of shrimps, tube worms and flatfish.
