Taharoa Domain (Kai Iwi Lakes)

The dive site at the Eastern end of the lake has a shallow (0.5m) entrance, then quickly drops to 10m and eventually slopes down to 30+. The bottom composition starts as fine white sand and gradually becomes siltier at depth.

Taharoa Lake has koura (fresh water crayfish), brown trout, rainbow trout and perch. There is no standard weed line
