Beneath the Norman castle of Acicastello, an extensive landslide of large basalt boulders ends on a sandy seabed, rich in crevices and small canyons, shelters for wrasses, groupers, and scorpionfish.
The rocky seabed is a perfect place to host groupers, castagnoles, salemas, sea breams, combfish, octopuses, nudibranchs, and feather-duster worms.
