About a mile southwest of GUIA laboratory, we found a concrete structure and two huge tubes sprinkled with life! With a minimum depth of 26 meters, it is a dive only for experienced divers.

This place never ceases to amaze us, with its forest of gorgonian of different colors, schools of pout, a huge conger eel and lots of octopuses

River Gurara MV was a Nigerian cargo motor vessel that sank on 26th February 1989 in Cape Espichel, during a strong storm. The ship broke in the middle, keeping its bow near the coast. This dive site is of the bow of the ship and has an average depth of 28m.

This site is easily identified at the surface by its distinctive geological formation at the base of the cape. Waves and swell here create large water spurts (in rough weather you can even hear “roaring“). This spot consists of a large rock with a slit that crosses it giving the sensation of being 2 separate rocks.It is possible to pass underneath from one side to the other because there is an opening in the form of an arc.

This site consists of several shelf-shaped rocks where lobsters like to seek refuge. It is nice to watch the lobster “antennas“ coming out of the shelves.

The general location of Penedos was given to us by a local fisherman around 20 years ago. He told us about the existence of these large boulders and abrupt depth changes in a relatively confined area just in front of the village of Sesimbra.

Shipwreck of a small transport vessel. Its cargo was constituted by tile remains, hence the site name. It is located at a depth between 55 and 65 meters, depending on the tide. Due to the depth this site is only for expert divers.

This spot is one of the most popular in the area, only because of its easy orientation and the diversity of life. The most common course is to keep the rock on your left side and circle around it, taking into account that the north side of the rock is less deep, allowing for a long dive.
