Great site for open courses, specialties, and for tourists thanks to the very rich backdrop of various biological forms, characterized by a vertical wall about 300 meters long which divides a platform on 8/10 meters from the bottom at about 20 meters.

Altare (★4.2)

The subsoil of this popular bathing lake consists of gravel, which offers good visibility even during heavy bathing. On weekends there are usually plenty of divers on site. Those who can may prefer to dive during the week when it is less crowded.

San Guglielmo (Wreck) (★4.1)

The wreck of the “San Guglielmo“ is a luxurious 1st class passenger ship that launched in 1911. It travelled the Italy-America route. Used as a troop transport, it was sunk on 08.01.1918 by a German submarine. It now lies on a sandy bottom at 29 meters.

Equa’s Wreck is about a 25 minute boat ride. Equa’s Wreck sits in front of Riomaggiore, two miles from the coast.

This site is one of the best dives on the island of Elba, the only area of the marine park where the presence of fish is incredibly abundant. This dive is suitable for all levels of diver.

Pianosa Boa 5 (★4.6)

This dive is located just south of the Pianosa rock. The peculiarity is certainly a large cave that cuts through the entire shoal. Pelagic fish are plentiful.

Punta del Faro di Portofino (★4.2)

One of the most beautiful walls in Italy. The wall reaches significant depths (80 mt) in the part near the buoy and in the direction of Portofino. Maintaining particular interest even in the deep part, is in the range between 15 and 25 meters where you can see most of the fish.

A beautiful vertical wall between 20 and 30 meters covered with yellow sea daisies, continuing towards the west the slope is very gentle, and leads us to another group of rocks that slopes with small jumps again towards 30 meters.

Faro dei Monaci (★4.0)

The Faro dei Monaci is a dive that takes place under the lighthouse on the island of the same name. It anchors in a cove well sheltered from the Grecale and Scirocco winds. The bottom is 5 meters, ideal for beginners. It then descends fairly quickly to 30/35 meters, where the gorgonians can be seen. There are cracks on the wall.

Junkers Ju-52 (Wreck) (★4.7)

A few hundred meters from the port of Isola delle Femmine is the wreckage of the German Junkers 52 aircraft. It was shot down in April 1943, and now sits at 46 meters deep on a sandy bottom.
