The SSI Open Water Diver is the globally recognized certification that allows you to dive independently with a buddy to a depth of 18 meters. The course combines in-depth knowledge with practical experience.The three pillars of training:Theory: Flexible learning via app or web (digital learning) to understand the physical and medical basics of diving.Pool Training (Confined Water): First breaths underwater in a controlled environment to master basic skills and equipment handling.Open water dives: Four dives in the lake or sea where you apply what you have learned and explore the real underwater world.Prerequisites:Minimum age: 10 years (Junior OWD) or 15 years.Health: Good physical condition (medical certificate recommended).Skills: Swimming skills are required.Your certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive your digital SSI certification, which is valid for life and opens doors to dive centers around the world.

The Hunsfels offers impressive depths of up to 54 meters, making it a hotspot for challenging dives. The absolute highlight, however, is the visibility: Thanks to the nutrient-poor water, you can often enjoy perfect visibility of 10 to 20 meters, almost reminiscent of alpine mountain lakes. You glide through crystal-clear blue and have the massive steep walls and the underwater world in razor-sharp focus at all times.

After your introductory diving course at TAUCHCENTER MC-DIVERS, the path to becoming a certified diver is efficient and straightforward.If you decide to take the OWD course within 6 months of the above-mentioned trial diving course, you will benefit from the following advantages:Full credit: The fees for the Try Scuba course are credited 1:1 towards the course price.Recognition of skills: The exercises already completed in the pool are transferred so that you can build directly on your knowledge.Continue your underwater journey and earn your worldwide diving certification.

The most important at a glanceThe Nitrox program is the most important specialty training for recreational and recreational divers. The SSI Try Scuba is an uncomplicated introductory course for beginners.Content: Short theory briefing and an accompanied dive in the pool or shallow open water.Goal: Experience your first breaths underwater and test the feeling of weightlessness.Duration: A few hours.Advantage: No previous experience necessary; the experience can often be credited towards the Open Water Diver.Ideal for finding out if you like diving without too much effort.

Two joint dives are planned.Our Divemaster Jürgen will accompany you on site as your guide and contact person.Dive site infoThe Brechtsee is an attractive quarry pond with a maximum depth of approx. 25 meters. Divers particularly appreciate the abundance of fish (including carp, pike and perch) and the beautiful vegetation in the shallower shore areas. Please note that there is no filling station at the lake.Important notesRegistration: Participation is only confirmed after registration.Rental equipment: If required, rental equipment can be picked up on Friday.
