We’ll start at 9:00 a.m. with the formalities and equipment check-in. The boat ride takes about 20–30 minutes, depending on the dive sites around Roqueta Island in Acapulco. After the briefing, you’ll dive right into your first dive, where—depending on the season and daily conditions—you’ll see many different pufferfish, boxfish, eagle rays, seahorses, moray eels, schools of surgeonfish, pipefish, octopuses, nudibranchs, crabs, lobsters, angelfish and emperor fish, eels, blennies, Christmas trees, and much more—depending on the season and current conditions. The water temperature ranges from 30 °C/84 °F from May to November, 27 °C/80 °F from November to March, and 24 °C/74 °F from April to May. During the surface interval, we’ll provide a snack and water to ensure you stay properly hydrated. We should be back at The Dive Shop around 2:00 p.m.
