Advanced Wreck Diving
The SSI Advanced Wreck Diving program is designed for certified divers who want to safely explore shipwrecks and develop advanced wreck-diving skills under professional supervision.
This training focuses on controlled penetration techniques, proper use of guidelines, and risk management while diving in overhead environments, always in accordance with SSI standards.
What You Will Learn
Advanced wreck-diving planning and procedures
Use of reels and spools for guideline deployment
Line handling and navigation inside wrecks
Buoyancy, trim, and propulsion techniques for confined spaces
Risk assessment and emergency procedures
Prerequisites
Minimum SSI Advanced Adventurer or equivalent
Good buoyancy control and comfort in limited-visibility environments
Appropriate equipment for wreck diving
