Open Water Instructor (Instructor Training Course, ITC)

This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personal training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience you need to be truly comfortable in the water.

The Instructor Evaluation (IE) is the final step in SSI’s two-step instructor training approach. Professionals holding a Dive Master certification or equivalent must first complete the Instructor Training Course (ITC), where they learn to: - Conducting academic sessions - Instructing confined-water training - Instructing various specialty programs, such as Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue, and Perfect Buoyancy - Developing student management and communication skills Are you already an experienced instructor with another organization?You may be eligible for the accelerated on-board option, which requires you to complete only a portion of the Instructor Training Course (ITC) and pass the Instructor Evaluation (IE).
