Divers here enjoy the privilege of usually being alone at the dive sites. The maximum depth of the dive sites varies between 15 and 30 meters, and there are no strong currents. The large number of fish is impressive, as are the numerous schools of fish attracted by the plankton-rich water . Many rare moray eels, leopard sharks, stingrays, colorful nudibranchs, turtles, cuttlefish, and eagle rays can be spotted during dives. In Oman, all the underwater creatures are also somewhat larger than elsewhere.
