This course is designed for all spearfishing enthusiasts.
Spearfishing isn’t just about going fishing—it’s more than a sport; it’s a way of living life and understanding life, as well as understanding nature and the sea, its forms of life, and learning to love and respect all living beings. Anyone who knows a true spearfisher will recognize these as their core values.
This passionate sport offers unforgettable moments and catches, but the sensation of descending to great depths, enjoying the environment in complete silence, and being in direct contact with nature and its living creatures is unlike any other sport.
The spearfisher operates within a very limited scope, limited by his physical capabilities. For this reason, he is at a disadvantage compared to his potential prey, which moves freely in its own environment.
We therefore understand that, under these conditions, catching a fish is a true feat. It’s worth noting that spearfishing is the most environmentally friendly form of fishing.
Spearfishing is the most selective form of sport fishing; the spearfisher is the only one who can choose their prey by species and size. It also requires a higher level of physical and mental preparation to practice it.
All of the above makes spearfishing an exciting activity that involves a high degree of difficulty.
We will teach relaxation and breathing techniques, as well as fishing techniques that respect the environment and provide insight into the lives of the most common fish inhabiting our seas.
