You will learn how to use specialized equipment, such as drysuits and buoyancy compensators, you will learn their main advantages and you will learn how to act correctly in case of emergencies specific to this type of diving. Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty certification.

SSI's Extended Range Foundations program offers you the opportunity to improve your advanced diving skills in a hands-on training environment. You'll learn how to operate technical diving equipment with the total dive system for which you're certified, and hone your skills in fundamentals such as buoyancy, trim, finning techniques, positioning and communication.This course complements your previous certifications, increasing your confidence and control in the water. All dives are conducted in a pool or confined water environment in water depths less than 12 meters. Upon completion, you will receive the SSI Extended Range Foundations certification.

This SSI Extended Range Trimix training program is the core course from which all other open-circuit courses are derived. This program is the starting point of your exciting adventure to becoming a competent technical diver. Whether in sidemount or twin tank configuration, this program prepares you to plan and conduct trimix decompression dives to a maximum depth of 45 meters.Learn techniques and procedures for using trimix and nitrox breathing gas mixtures up to 100% oxygen for decompression. You will earn the Extended Range Trimix Diver certification after completing this program and increase your knowledge as a technical diver.

Become a dive instructor and live your passion.To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must be a certified Divemaster or possess an equivalent qualification.Upon successful completion of the ITC, you will attend the Instructor Evaluation (IE) to become an SSI Open Water Instructor. As a certified instructor, you will be able to independently teach key SSI programs such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Diver Stress & Rescue and Dive Guide.Need more time or want to gain practical experience before becoming a full instructor? You can take the Assistant Instructor part as a stand-alone step. This will allow you to assist students in real courses, gain valuable teaching experience and then complete the Instructor Evaluation at your own pace.

As a Nitrox Diver, you'll have the opportunity to increase your bottom times, improve safety margins and reduce surface intervals, allowing you to spend more time underwater and less time waiting. In this program, you will acquire new skills and expand your dive knowledge.You will also learn how to plan and safely dive with enriched air mixtures containing up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion of the course, you will receive the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will prepare you to dive safely between 18 and 40 meters deep, combining theory training with open water dives. You will learn how to plan and execute deep dives, as well as how to use dive computers and calculate gas consumption to get the most out of each dive.Upon completion of the course, you will earn the SSI Deep Diving certification, which will allow you to explore deeper dive sites anywhere in the world. In addition, this specialty is a prerequisite for some advanced programs, making it the ideal stepping stone to further expand your diving skills.
