Whether you're going to use an action camera like a GoPro, a high-end phone in a special case, or even a DSLR to record your diving adventures, we can help!We'll guide you through setting up and preparing your equipment, trying out different compositions and using lights or color filters, and we'll do some post-editing of your photos and videos.You will develop your skills and learn techniques for taking underwater pictures and videos safely and easily, plus improve your diving skills using the underwater camera system. You will learn to take high quality images that you can share with others and earn certification for the SSI Photo & Video specialty. In two theoretical sessions, you will learn about how water affects light, what types of cameras and accessories we have (what goes with what, how to maintain them), how the equipment works in general, and what possible settings can be used to achieve amazing images or videos. What additional light(s), underwater composition and exposure techniques will bring us. How best to capture different species of fish and last but not least, different tips and tricks for not only shooting and filming but also post production. Get started with the course today!

This program is a first introduction to the world of freediving and is designed for complete beginners who are attracted to scuba diving. The lesson is also great as a gift. The purpose of the program is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely participate in recreational freediving with an SSI diving professional in confined water. Upon completion of the program, you will receive SSI Try Freediving recognition.

A snorkeling program can be the first step beyond apparatus diving or freediving. In this course you will learn useful tips on how to make the most of your time at the surface and just below it. Instructors will teach you how to dive safely to depths you are comfortable with and you will have the opportunity to improve your underwater breath-hold.

This globally recognized training program is the best way to start your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. One-on-one instruction is combined with in-water training, giving you the skills and experience needed to feel truly comfortable underwater. Upon completion of the course, you will be certified as an SSI Open Water Diver.

The purpose of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate safely and confidently during a dive. You will learn how to navigate using a compass, how to use natural navigation underwater, learn how to estimate distance correctly, and gain information on basic navigation techniques. You will also practice leaving to find a set point again. Upon completion of the program, you will earn your SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

SSI's Decompression Diving specialty teaches you how to perform dives beyond the limit without decompression diving. You will learn how to plan and execute dives to a maximum depth of 40 meters with limited decompression using your recreational complete dive system and one decompression bottle. You will learn and practice how to effectively use dive computer functions including gas changes, gas integration, time to reserve and time to surface. Using these dive computer features will become second nature to you, allowing you to safely perform limited decompression dives without many hours of dive planning. Upon completion, you will be certified as an SSI Decompression Diving Specialty and will be able to explore amazing deep dive sites or larger wrecks without being constrained by traditional non-decompression limits. The possibilities for expanding your diving adventures just got bigger!

In this course, you will learn the skills and concepts you need to safely plan and execute dives using an underwater vehicle or DPV. You will learn what special precautions are necessary when using a DPV, how to maintain contact with your dive partner, and how to operate your equipment to safely enjoy the new diving experiences that a DPV provides. Upon completion of this program, you will be certified as an SSI Scooter/DPV Diving Specialty and will be able to dive with a scooter or DPV to depths of up to 30 meters.

Want to work on your balance, improve your fin kick technique and fine-tune your body position in the water, known as trim? ProgramSSI Perfect Buoyancyis aimed at providing the necessary knowledge and skills to improve your comfort in the water and make the best use of your diving equipment. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Perfect Buoyancy Specialty.

Stress is a major cause of many diving accidents and also has a negative impact on rescue operations. The purpose of this program is to provide students with the skills necessary to recognize stress, prevent accidents, and act appropriately in emergency situations. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified as an SSI Diver Stress & Rescue Specialty.

The content of the SSI React Right program includes the following components: casualty assessment, first aid at the scene, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, stabilization techniques, and two optional components: oxygen administration in emergency situations and basic knowledge of performing automated external defibrillation (AED). Upon successful completion of the program, you will be certified as SSI React Right.

The SSI Dive Guide program is the first step on a professional diver's journey. You will learn to safely guide certified divers in a variety of conditions, prepare quality dive briefings, evaluate sites, and lead dives as a responsible guide.At Divers Direct, we will prepare you not only to meet SSI standards, but more importantly, to work realistically with the people, team, and responsibility that this level brings.The purpose of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and training they will need to lead certified divers. It is the first step in a career as anSSI dive professional. A Professional Dive Guide/Divemaster can work for SSI dive centers and conduct dives in a variety of environments and conditions. Upon completion of the program, the student will be certified as an SSI Dive Guide, and if completing the SSI Science of Diving program, an SSI Divemaster.

The Leštinka Dive Park will host a unique event focused on drysuit testing. This event is open to all interested parties whether or not they are drysuit certified. Attendees will be able to test the latest dry suit types, receive professional instruction, earn SSI Dry Suit certification and much more. Many of our divemasters and instructors will also be present at the event and will be available for advice and demonstrations. Try instrument diving and let an experienced instructor introduce you to the underwater world. A test dive gives you the opportunity to try diving in controlled conditions in a dive pit. The most skilled will reach the bottom at 8 metres.On the test dive, you will first learn a little bit of dive theory, the instructor will explain the most important things you need to know for your own safety, and explain the operation of your dive gear. However, the vast majority of your time will be spent underwater. At first you will slowly breathe and get used to your new surroundings and then, depending on your taste and skill, you will try some exercises and try diving to greater depths.We'll give you a small reward at the end of your test dive and send you photos of your experience within a week of your dive to show off to friends and family. And if you're interested in diving, we'll even give you a discount on the full dive course, which will allow you to dive independently without an instructor.
