As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 40% certification. Course dates will be agreed together, theories and dives in 2026!

In the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you can try the Deep Diving and Navigation courses as well as three other dives in the special course. The course is a great way to experience what SSI advanced courses are all about and how valuable it can be in your diving adventures. During the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you will experience five different specializations as you complete one open water dive per specialty after a comprehensive orientation with your SSI instructor. You can complete any special training at any time in the future and have your Advanced Open Water Diver training credited to them. The course gives you the classification to dive to a depth of 30m. The Dive Guide course is the first step on an exciting journey to becoming a dive training professional. Learn how to lead certified divers safely in a variety of environments and conditions. By keeping dive briefs, conducting site assessments and leading dives, you will become a confident dive guide in no time. The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step on the diving instructor path after becoming a Divemaster. It allows you to gain valuable teaching experience, practice your initiations, teach lessons and provide on-water training. If you want to progress your career as a diving professional, you can complete the Instructor Course, pass the Instructor Evaluation exam and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Become a diving instructor and live your passion. To participate in the SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC), you must be a certified divemaster or equivalent. This comprehensive course is part of SSI's two-step training methodology. It starts with a combination of instructor courses supported by immersive digital learning.
