The SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty Program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving.  Great dive experiences are not limited to tropical reefs or the warm and sunny summer months. With the proper exposure protection, you can make diving a year-round activity, and experience the amazing diversity of dive sites. Minimum Age 12, course costs include one pool orientation session, two Open Water dives, eLearning & final certification upon completion. Join the SSI Science of Diving specialty and you will develop a complete understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. This specialty is required training for most SSI Professional programs, as well as some Extended Range programs, and is an essential way to expand your dive knowledge. Available online, you can earn your SSI Science of Diving specialty certification from home and get ready to begin your dive professional career. this course can be done at anytime online, with or without a classroom session, although we will always be here to help with those tricky questions and happily give a teaching session face to face or via the internet. Upon completion, you will be halfway to earning the coveted SSI Divemaster rating and earn the SSI Science of Diving specialty certification.

At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and we hope wish to continue your dive training.
